“A constant song for a constant love
No difficult chords, easy to play
A simple song for a simplest love”-Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros “Simplest Love”

I was driving home from school today, when I saw a girl was walking on the sidewalk by the park next to my house, she was carrying a guitar, and looked morose. Normally, I would just think of some amazing moment that I could have, and then don’t do anything, but today I felt, “you know what, I have about 4 months left in this place, and dammit I might as well have some stories to tell when I leave!” (and she was pretty cute) So I slam on my brakes, get out of my car, and only somewhat awkwardly ask, “are you okay?” I expected just a “I’m fine” (translated: get away from me wierdo,” but she told me everything. Her parents had just gotten into a fight, and she was tired of it and wanted to get out of the house and play her guitar. I didn’t know what to say, I’m good with advice, but I really had nothing to say to this. Then I remembered, I had my kalimba in my car, so I asked if I could play some music together. She said yes and we a had a little impromptu concert right there in the park, and actually gave many passing joggers quite the little treat. After, I couldn’t tell if she was on the verge of tears, or really happy, but she looked at me, and just said, “thank you so much.” I asked for her name, and if we could see each other sometime. She smiled.
Her name is Claire, and I’m going to see her again Friday.

If you have 2 and a half hours to invest in a great movie than I highly recommend this one! Outstanding acting throughout and authenticity that is shockingly horrific. You haven’t seen the climax of WWII as honest and vivid as Der Untergang shows it from the German’s perspective.

This is the soon to be mixed and mastered song 1,000 days instrumental. I wrote this entire song almost 2 years ago. Woopie!
Christmas has been kind to me. I just finished setting up my new labtop, and I’m almost finished authorizing my music programs. I am more than excited for for the future of my music and this blog, luckily.
While slightly unenthusiastic-most likely because it’s midnight on Christmas Eve-and obviously tired, I managed to create my Tumblr! I promise that I will start posting more interesting things in due time.
